Good Ship Lollypop (NOW WITH A MISSILE LAUNCHER!)

Photobucket
Cats love christmas too!

Photobucket
We had a big fundraiser last week and Lollypop Farm grossed $37,000!  YEAH!  Sounds like a lot until I found out that the care of the animals from one of our cruelty cases has run up a tab of about $86,000.  It amazes me the things we can do though!

Photobucket
This inkind donation from Perkins.  It is wonderful chauffeuring a platter of browies, cookies, brownies and other goodies that take up my entire backseat in the morning.

Photobucket
So...  It begins...

Photobucket
Rachel and Erin boxing each other on the Kinect

Photobucket
The best part of watching these two box is they keep getting closer to the TV as if they are going to start boxing the characters on the screen.

Photobucket
Lollypop Farm Holiday Party at the Green Lantern (restaurant; not the superhero) in the village of Fairport.  A good time was had by all and, as this pic shows, lots of hats that move and play music.

Photobucket
Look at what I got at the White Elephant Gift Exchange!  It's a missile launcher for my desk.  It has a full range of motion, has desktop controls for my computer, and another way for me to threaten my volunteers to do more data entry just in time for the giving season!

The Tale of Mark Klaus

Photobucket
Santa with Spaz the Iguana.  There's something special about having this happen in the office right next to me

Photobucket
This is Petey in the office on the other side of me.

Photobucket
PETEY!  KEEP BATCHING GIFTS!  WHAT ABOUT THE AUDIT!

Photobucket
Look who got adopted today!  A 3 month old Pug/Jack Russell Terrier

Photobucket
Tailgating at Conklin's Bar and Grill before the Bills/Titans game this past weekend, which is the best part of the game when they are losing...

Photobucket
Look at all of them empty seats...  Talking about teams that self-destruct, it's nice to see the Detroit Lions are going to personal foul their way out of a wild card playoff spot.  It's a new twist on an old disappointment.

That's all from Rochester.

2-for-1 Holiday Special

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  I think Megan and I broke a new land speed record between Rochester, NY and Muskegon, MI with a drive time under 8 hours.  I'm glad we got to see a lot of people back home and sorry that we didn't get to see everyone.

Photobucket
DON'T FEED HER AFTER MIDNIGHT!

Photobucket
And, in honor of the new Muppet movie, I say, "meer meer meer meer!"

Photobucket
Seems that x-mas and t-day combined forces this year.  And yes Virginia, that is a Superman snuggie.  It looks even better when I become "Lazy Superman" watching football on the couch.

Photobucket
This is Brother Thou Shalt Not Get Fat.  Of course, it only contains grenola...

Photobucket
The sweetest breed of dog; Cupcake Yorkie.

Please check out Lollypop Farm, Humane Society of Greater Rochester's new website at:

Play around with the pages and all and tell me what you think.  Thanks!

A Week In the Life of a Lollypop Farm Employee

Photobucket
I believe this sign should be made available to all employees having a rough day.  Perhaps in t-shirt form for those without an office.

Photobucket
My getting to work wheels and my at work wheels.  Compare and contrast.

Photobucket
THE BRICKS ARE IN!  YEAH!!!!  Thanks to Zaretsky and Associates landscaping for the installation.  Thanks to my team for all the work they've put into it.  Most of all, to all our donors for participating!!!

Photobucket
So many good bricks.  They look better now that they've been swept and it has rained

Photobucket
Lots of new birds at Lollypop Farm after a surrender.  These guys captivate my attention every time I walk by.

Photobucket
Thanks to Dee for my new desk ornament.  It's Squash Beetlejuice!  Michael Keaton has never looked so good.

Photobucket
Thanks to Karen for my new creepy Puss In Boots clock.

Photobucket
OH MAN!  The set is going up for getting your Holiday Pet Photos.  At the very least, you should check out the pics of Santa with the animals.  But, it would be even better to sign up and have a picture taken with you furry friend at:

"W... Hat... What? Oh, What! Are You Serious Right Now?

Photobucket
Meet Dave Jr.  Not Really...  Again...  This is Rocky!  The newest addition to the family from Lollypop Farm and Stella's newest roommate.

Photobucket
Here's Rachel and Rocky.  Why Rachel is traveling at the speed of light is unknown...

Photobucket
Fishing for salmon at Linear Park in Penfield.  Looks like a beer commercial...

Photobucket
The world's littlest hamster.  He's only 7 days old...

Photobucket
RABBITS ON THE LOOSE!

Photobucket
How can anyone have a bad day at work when the last thing they see is a dozen rabbits bouncing around?  They don't...

Time for some pizza and Biggest Loser.  Two things that go together beautifully...

Cat On a Hot Tin Ceiling

Photobucket
CAT ESCAPES INTO THE CEILING!

Photobucket
Poor thing.  I had to stay late after work to help set a trap to catch her.

Photobucket
Certainly not afraid of heights

Photobucket
Tailgating at Conklin's Bar and Grill/Illegal Motion before the Buffalo Bill's game.

Photobucket
Panorama of Ralph Wilson Stadium

Photobucket
THAT'S A LOT OF WHITE PEOPLE!  It was a "whiteout" for the Jets game.  The only white shirts I have are a dress shirt and a tshirt with a cartoon Bavarian pickle yodeling.  It seems that was the case with many people.  Probably would have been more successful if they would have gone with red or blue...

Photobucket
We've been looking for houses with a nice porch.  I never thought to look for a car with one...

Photobucket
How depressing is it that it is this dark when I leave work now?  How about this for a hot button election day issue: Daylight Savings Time 365 days a year?

That's it.

Things On Other People's Walls

Photobucket
Found this fella outside my door this morning.

Photobucket
Poster from the Barktober Fest Poster Contest.  I don't know if I like "Make me your pet" or "Love me" more.  Perhaps we should have a vote...

Photobucket
A gem found in the basement of another open house.  I think Santa and the doll may have had a little egg nog...

Photobucket
Saved the best for last.  Who doesn't love a monkey in the toilet?  That is a funny job.  Whoever lives in this house would probably be my best friend if I ever met them...

That was quick and easy.  I guess no Rachel or Gertie means no photos.  This is what moving to Rochester has done to me.  At least I have toilet monkey...
