The Devil and Michael Kraus

Hey, Keeping pretty busy these days with my docent training class and all. I've been walking all over town, reading, writing, and practicing all about Chicago architecture. I'm getting real close to finishing my 'zine as well. If all goes according to plan, I'd like to print it next Monday. We'll see. We'll see...
Tyler laying on the chair the way it's meant to be laid in. It's the closest thing to a chouch without being The Chouch. Matt and Nick watching whatever the hell we were watching. Sewer work or something under Wabash. A view of Chicago from Daley Plaza on the way to getting chicken wings... A view of Chicago from the Dearborn Street Bridge on the way to getting chicken wings. Nick, Karli, and Cliff at the Couch getting chicken wings. Karli is actually in the sky right now on the way to her new job in Quebec. She's coming back (hopefully). But, there's some kind of conference or something there. Not a bad first day on the job. I wish someone would pay me to go somewhere cool... Amanda Talmadge, SME, Tyler, and Matt. I think Tyler is about to puke one of his 20+ wings he ate that night. Matt's going strong, but they'll catch up to him later. Oh, they will... Karli, Cliff, Amanda, SME, Tyler, and Matt at the Couch. Look at these. The best meal you can buy for $1.20. Lloyd. Stop crying. We ignore you. We pet you. We spray you with water. What do you want? WHAT! Matt and Mike Nummerdor at the Murder House. Look at Matt's shoes. There are awesome. They are like boxing shoes for the street or something. Cliff said that he use to have a friend with a Camero with the same paint job. That must of been one bitchin' Camero... Matt, Mike Nummerdor, and Tyler at Murder House. Oh yeah, a liquor store started selling Nattie Ice bottle 12 pack for $5.07 OTB. So, Mike's been bringing that over every night since that discovery has been made. KITCHEN PARTY! Brooke (?), Matt, Tyler, and Nick along the kitchen counter. Nick, Tyler, and SME lined up Tennessee! Cliff and Tennessee during Kitchen Party.

That's pretty much everything. Today should be an interesting day. Nick just made me some bacon and eggs. Thanks Nick! They were good. I have a dentist appointment around 2pm. There's some other business to attend to and I've got to start practicing on my public speaking.

xoxo,

Mike

SWEET! WE HAVE MARIO KART!!!

I started the Docent Training Program at work this past week. It's looking like quite a bit of work already. So, tack that on to the time I already put into it. Although, it's a good investment. It should help me understand my job better, help me with public speaking, and so on.
Anyway, here's some stuff from Maxwell Street Market:  Tyler buying a $2 hat that he accidently destroyed a couple hours later The Nummerdor boys looking over an old skateboard. Look at the name of the port-O-john company; Oui Oui Enterprises. Nice, very nice. Very French... Nick looking desperately for a CD case Nick, Matt, Tyler and Mike strike gold. A huge collection of good records at low, low prices! Mike with Maxwell Street Market and the Chicago skyline in the background. Tyler showing the usefulness of a giant clip. Nick getting even with Matt... The rockin' bus!

That's about it. So, I will leave it at that... Mike

"Hi, I'm Jerry Ford (R.I.P.). Welcome To My Airport..."

Happy New Years! Welcome to 2007. I've been quite busy lately. So much so that I've barely had time to shave and get a change of clothes. Not that I'm really bothered by not doing so. Anyway, I'm just about ready to start my docent training at work. For the next 3 months, I'm going to learn all about Chicago architecture. Man, if my life didn't revolve around that enough already...
Myopic Books - one of my favorite bookstores. I haven't been to it since it moved into the old Earwax location. I think its best feature is it looks like the basement of someone's home in Muskegon, Michigan.
X-Mas is over. Dismantling the tree at the Santa Fe Building. 2006 has been rough on Katie. But, not all has been mad. That's when we met. Michiganders Unite! Bess, John, Molly, and Beth dancing at Katie's apartment on NYE. Bess and John dancing on NYE. Don't forget to compliment Bess on her short skirt. (cat purr) Molly, John, Bess, and Ronan on NYE at Katie's. Ronan just got back from the homeland (Ireland). Yep, she's from Michigan... Katie on NYE. Megan and myself at Katie's NYE party. Notice Megan has a mohawk. I forget why she had to have a mohawk, but it was in Katie's Evite for the party. Something about a bet with John or something. It took 45 minutes, one (1) can of Aqua Net, and four (4) eggs for this masterpiece. Katie and Megan on NYE. Megan with the mohawk on the cab ride home. Completely awesome!

That's really it from Chicago. My resolutions for this year is to: 1) Remain far away from melodrama, which I succeeded in during 2006 2) Get rid of more of my junk. 3) Finish my 'zine sooner than later... xoxo, Mike
